Good tune, especially the beginning as you say. In general I am not a fan of stop-go-stop-rythms, but I can see that it serves a purpose here.

The last half of this tune was rushed together very quickly, which becomes quite apparent. I'm happy with the first half though. Some instruments could've been better, as usual... Production is a hell of a lot harder than composing.
