Yeah,as Mr Lee and Ryk said, this was Party linking(coding). Anyway this is at least something, although i liked to add a credits and a greetings part and the pic of zeldin, which was also released on this bcc. Zeldin and me just discussed about making an extended version which has not this sudden end.
The wrecked basic stub was my fault. I linked the credits screen(it was in the party version) with a small routine which copies data to $0400 and had to redirect the sys which then became five instead of four digits. So we (Zeldin and me) uploaded a version without that credits screen. Anyway the credits are in this database now.

Indeed, Monte coded a great deal live at the event during a Saturday afternoon. So there was no support at the critical stage, but a lot of distraction by the noise of diverse machines and other ppl (like me who asked him a lot of stupid questions). If you consider all this, you should not expect an "it came on 2 disksides 20 minutes unheard-of-new-FX" demo. BTW: I even thought, the $0800 thing to make it crash in VICE was done on purpose to force ppl to transfer it. ;) But obviously sb added a VICE-compatible .prg meanwhile.

I like the result very much. Was a pleasure to meet you again, Monte. And since BCC actually isn't a demo group at all, it is always an honor to have you at BCC parties with a brandnew and inspiring Cascade release.

"Does not work in vice"
no wonder, there is a bugged sys line with no proper ending. anyway just use autostart/inject and reload the prg, so the basic interpreter won't try to relink the basic line links. Or simply load it from monitor =)

nice to see you release something again, Carlos, but that is a bit little - if it actually ends at the brown screen. i liked the rotating rasterbar with the mix colors, but i know you have much better demoparts unreleased, when will we see those? ;-)
