Summary
Submitted by Uncle Ben's Soft on 17 August 2010
This Game was created with the Shoot Em Up Construction Kit in 1988 and is based on the Cover Artwork and named after the Hit Single Pump Up The Volume from M-A-R-R-S.
If you look closely, you can also see, that the Player Character is based on the Logo Figurine from the MUTE Music Label (Depeche Mode)
All the Rest is original Artwork from myself, though you maybe find similar Things in Xevious.

Another Thing: the Phrase on the Title Screen is not supposed to be a Request for Murder. The Rockers in this Game are/is simply the Enemy i.e. everything shooting at you.
Personally I really like Rock but since this Game is based on DJ Culture, i Thought an obvious Name for an Enemy is a Rocker.
Have Fun.
