Good ideas on the composition, and the asymmetry of the lips freak me out a little bit, which is probably indicative of more success on the part of your art. It's not about what's on the canvas, it's about what the canvas paints in your emotions.

Like, when I saw Moloch comment that my AFLI KRX logo had a vertical discontinuity, I looked and realized he was correct by a pixel or two...but then later it occurred to me, that this asymmetry was a gift, not a mistake.

Wow, I guess there were some serious issues at the party considering the place. It should be higher than that.

Anyways, this is a great pic! I like the effect of pareidolia you have going here.

Not a self portrait, haha, just a simple picture created while at work, inspired by Aliens and French cinema of the 1930's. Thanks for nice comment. ;)

Frost: personally I try to ignore all ratings if possible, as there is no right or wrong, just a subjective average etc. Keep up the top work!

Edit: I forgot to add, keep voting of course!!! Just do not take it too seriously! :D

to be honest, some of the entries were flared/washed out on the big screen a bit, and this one was one of them. Deserved better than 5th. Wasnt a winner, but wasnt 5th. Keep it up!

Aww, ok... Feel better now... I'm still shocked that a convert can get 3rd place right next to Joe?!?

I wanted it to be hand pixelated as its such a nice piccy.

FatFrost, if you look at the csdb rating, Gerhl Green is ranked 5th at the moment. Don't let the party result get you down.

This one should absolutely have been placed higher. Just keep on pixelling, dude!

I would've liked it better with a more abstract face. Still nice.

Edit: And should've ended up higher in the compo, though the quality of the entries was generally high.
