Doing a wild guess is fine if you add the doubtful infos in a comment so other people can check and add additional info when it becomes not doubtful anymore.
It would be nice to have an indicator in the DB to mark if a date is guessed, but a comment will do as well. |

Sure it's a wild guess but no hassle. I have all these doubtful infos, like vague dates, marked in my personal database for later reconsideration. Unluckily you cannot do that directly in CSDb. I already have changed some info I added by 1-2 months or wrongfully credited charsets after further investigation.
But if you like, remove the current date. |

Because it's still a wild guess. There is no other release from Mr. B&B (yet) that proofs that he was active around 1984. We only have this release of him.
It could also be a hack from another crack where Mr. B&B replaced a string and that could have been done years later. Even cracking old games and releasing them years later was done by people that started cracking/programming.
I this case I think we should not set any date unless there is more info about Mr. B&B. |

That's when the game's been most likely published and mostly cracked... November 1984 ... also the other software on the disk I got that from and the intro design suggest that.
Why do you think it has been cracked a lot later? |
