Well, all is fine for me, even set for all my uploads the date of 2016. As Didi of Laxity correctly said, these "release" never went out of my room. I'll leave to Moderators and Database mantainers the decision of what to do. As already said, all was made only for fun. Like now.

Ok I understood what happened then, just replaced the music and few things in the intro. If the crack was originally made in 1988 BUT revisited in 1992 even if to alter the intro, both this intro AND the crack are be dated 1992, whatever was the original release date. It's by all means a rerelease. Eventually an unaltered 1988 version will surface from your disks and can be added with its correct release year.

Well, maybe all Wolf Team cracks and intros should be dated to upload date because they were never publicly "released" before, as stated in the group info?

I changed it back but I would like to see the actual date when something was last changed or released rather than when something was started or initially done.

To me it doesn't make sense to have an incorrect date in the release. The release date field is about the whole release, not only when something is cracked.

@Fred: I would disagree, because the cracking work was made in 1988. The reason of the 1992 music is explained now (I guess). Though I don't think is so important for something that has been closed in a box with other hundreds of floppies for about 25 years.... :)

I've now updated the release year to 1992.

Well, I have vague memories of what happened here but it's very probably that the original song I used, that was IIRC a Rob Hubbard one, was replaced some years after under a suggestion of Psyko with the actual one. My cracks were for my personal use and you can realize that also the greetings to some sceners groups are there for fun. I was only in contact with NIWA SOFT here in Italy at the times. Also, my skills increased during the years and was my common practice re-visit my intros and fix/improve them. This work is probably one of them. The moving coloured bars at the top were probably added in a second step too....

for sure this (and relative release) is not made in 1988, the tune is made in Music assembler which didn't even exist in 1988.

some perhaps helpful hint in scroller: "thanks to psyko for the music"
