Faayd: It's not you that decides if it is a firstrelease or not, actually. If you release something that is a first release it is one, by default. Or to be more specific: someone else will steal the firstie if they upload the same version to the boards within 24h. And that will be V3, because it's the 3rd available preview version - call it whatever you want, it's still prv version 3. :) And the fourth won't count.

From my point of counting First Releases this one is no problem. I only count Releases uploaded to the boards and this one was not spread there. It was also not tagged as First Release on the initial post, so it is fine for me.
The groups who want to participate in the First Release game should use the First Release tag here to show if they intend their release to be counted. So we have the tools, just use them! Maybe lock the entry if you do not want someone else to change it.

henning: please use Version 2a like in our release
jazzcat: we called it Version 2a and mailrelease, so we all can wait for a V3 Preview of this game, which get points and will be uploaded to the boards

Thanks Faayd. Interesting when a group classifies something in a scroller, it overrides other technical facts (mail release and not firstie and vice versa e.g. certainly one of the nuances of the scene!)
For this "V3" release; as it is V3 of the game preview, no further game previews released by groups, even if first, will receive points (important consideration when editing 'The List').

We have all been looking at this very version, and the changes to the previous version is quite small, indeed, so many groups probably waited for a bigger update. But if you release it it should be called Prv 3.

This version was never before released by a cracking group, it has small updates in code, 1 other level design and added highscore.
We desided to make it as mailrelease for our 26. anniversary, because it has only small changes.

Has this version of the game preview ever been released by a cracker group before?

They call it mailrelease in the intro scoller.
