as a designer i reserve the right to decide on colours which work. green will its a mid tone of similar luma to med grey and will have no conflicts with any of the colours used in the character animations. also it makes a nice change because nothing else is green and we have a plethora of greys, browns and yellow fighting areas. pretty much any colour will work from a contrast point of view except light grey, white, red or pink. it just has to have a reason for being the colour. in this the easter island statues tend to be on grassy cliffs facing the pacific ocean
