Yes. Uses old version of songlength.
Hopefully HVSC will keep updating that file.

Works fine now, thanks. It's because sidplay64 uses old format of songlengths file?

I'm trying to use InjectSongLengths.exe but without success. I have the EXE in the same folder as SID files, together with Songlengths.txt (originally .md5 file). I got errors "PSID Hash not found: ec97..." for all files. What am I doing wrong?

There was a problem with the initial 3.9 release for the U2+/U64 that indeed caused a 81,NOT IN DATA MODE error. If you cannot wait for the official 3.9a release: This has been fixed in an unofficial release on GitHub.

Hey, Sidplay64 V1.21 stops working with U2/U64. (with most recent firmware, on previous was ok. Gideon pointed to problem with software, not hardware/firmware)

On C64 with 1541uII it works great. But.. on my C128 with 1541uII and C64 mode, it don't recognize reu, and ultidos version doesn't work. The bad thing is that my C128 has 6581 SID, and default 1541uII sidplayer don't work with it too. So I have not any choice to listen old sids from SD card on this machine :/

Not as if opinions mattered at all, but I think I haven't said it yet: I love this player.

Yes it supports 1541u1. Just open the zip and look at the filenames.

Thierry, it is quite easy to inject the sid tunes yourself. In the readme.txt you'll find a short instruction on how to do that. The iInjectSongLengths.exe programme also works with Wine, If you do not use Microsoft Windows OS.

Sure, this works. Just mentioned it because it's not completely spec conforming :)

The load address field at +08 can be considered useless and it's never used anywhere, you can forget about it.
Always have a proper load address as first 2 bytes in the data part (+7c) and it's all good.

If I put a big-endian load address in the header at +8, sidplay64-normal.prg still interprets the first 2 bytes of the payload as the loading address. Tested the same file with some Linux/Windows SID players that get it correct.
