probably. I precalculated shit like this in graphics basic in the second half of nineties. not impossible or extremely hard at all, you just need a bit more patience. usually I skipped every xth pixel in a grid like pattern while debugging that made the speed bearable, and then full res.

It's precalculated... but with what? This is from 1987... did they write a BASIC routine to calculate this? I guess no Amiga and no converter was involved :)
I really wonder if there was any group doing better work in 1987, than Scoop..??!

Nice zoomer... It's probably precalculated all the way from here and deep into the fiery pits of hell, but i still think it looks nice for a '87 demo.
