I recently tried the 16MB fix RAMDOS.bin Version (not CRT) and set up a 16MB RamFloppy in VICE and on a Turbo Chameleon V1.

If I want to copy Files to the REU, it seems the REU gets no DATA.
It all works nice as long as the REU size doesn't exceed 8MB.

Any Idea what's wrong or what I failed to do before copying Files ?

Btw. one of the copy Routines I used, was the one shipped with C*BASE and
it's V3.3 RAMDOS, but also a modified Version of CMD FCOPY.

RAMDOS uses the 64's RAM - always has. This cartridge contains the code (and the 16MB fix) so that it is available immediately upon bootup without needing to load it from disk.

Agreed. To actually be useful this needs to run from cart and not eat up system RAM.

occupies real C64 Mem instead of running from crt. Doesnt make sense to me at all
