@Copyfoult thanks for your next very nice opinion. I'm in a hurry to answer your question about the fact that my current IFLI graphics do not flicker like the older releases. So it looks like I have more refined the color mixing and as I paint on a physical C64 and I have a CRT connected I look very carefully at the graphic being created and by catching graphic elements in which the image flashes too much I use to mask pixels in a different tone of color this is how it looks briefly . You have also noticed well my Friend, that these newer graphics look visually, I would say better ;-)

Promised to add another comment once my gear's up&running again, so... the whole release did not disappoint me when watching on a CRT - to the contrary, it definately *is* like a perfect trip back to the heydays of IFLI!

Though I like all of the interlacing pictures, I'm impressed that the newer ones seem to tame the flickering even more. @katon: did you go for another (dithering) technique or is it just me seeing things that are not there?

Thanks again so much for such amazing comments! I am really glad that the collection has been so well received. I can't write anything else but that this year I will present completely new graphics. Painting pictures on the C64 gives me incredible joy and happiness. Thanks again on behalf of the entire team that was involved in the Destination 2 release.

Great work, guys! Very unique style of Katon's pixeling is visible across all these amazing images created in the past and nowadays. This superb color blending really catched my eyes. Some of these monochromatic images together with the ending tune made me willing to code a fantasy game based on theme. Congratulations Katon and the team!

Katon, congratulations, a strong 3/10! That's always something! Let's keep it up! And seriously, these are great works of art - probably requiring hundreds of hours ... Superb job! BTW. throw away that joystick - it's not productive - I know, sentiment wins! - I think :)

Wow! Very nice graphics. All of them drawn on real C64 with joystick. Not Photoshop/Timanthes and other graphics studios only native c64 tools.
Katon you are amazing!!!! You are guy not from this world! Like for me - 10++++

This is the real art. Pixel by pixel. No Photoshop or GIMPs. Put the joystick in your hand and put it pixel by pixel on real machine :) AWESOME!

Hello, my dear friends, thank you very much for such beautiful comments. This motivates me and the group to keep creating graphics and production on the C64. The demo scene is in my mind and heart. This collection took a lot of work. Sebaloz and Psych 858o did a heroic job here, thank you very much again!

So this is the little surprise you were hinting at, Katon :) I'm really happy to see this, a new gfx collection full of interlaced(!) pictures in 2021.

Unfortunately my gear's packed away atm so I will come back with comments on the actual pics later. For now, I take off my hat for the effort: it is absolutely incredible that these pics have been pixelled on the C64.

Splendid job, Katon & LepsiDe!

Very cool to see Katon do all that in 2021 on a real C-64 without starting elsewhere. Impressive. I really like the font in that one.

As I have said many times before, there is a rare degree of "uniqueness and realness" about your work Katon. The Destination 2 title screen is a piece I hadn't seen before among your work and it is wonderful.

I hope you keep making these wonderful works of art.

When it comes to C64 pixel art, medium alone is no longer the message. When extremely powerful tools become available, the selection of method and tools by the artist also become part of the message. And I love your choices in your art.

Cannot forget to mention the awesome soundtrack Psych8580. I especially found the end music beautifully haunting.
Best wishes.
