Thanks a lot for the valuable feedback, Wile Coyote. We had different persons for the houses and the sprites - next time I will make small houses (or come up with a story about dwarves and/or giants). WASD is just an option if you don't have a Joystick attached. Since the C64 does not have separate cursor keys, WASD was kinda the next best common thing to choose. But Joystick in Port 2 definitely is the real thing! Going behind the houses would be an addition, but apart from the effect, I am not entirely sure about the benefits apart from losing your figure :-)
Thanks a lot for playing the game. Hint: Since you already talked to everyone you were one step from the second level.

I had a wander around and chatted to all there was to chat to. That's as far as i got.

'W' 'S' 'A' 'D' to control the character felt odd.

The houses - the windows seem situation quite high up given the height of the characters in the game.

It might make sense to work on the ability to allow the characters to walk behind the buildings, which should be do-able ^_^
