Maybe ask The Communist, who added the release year 1987? Perhaps he has some more insight?
Otherwise I agree, seems save enough to justify a new entry. Did DCS use that 1941 SYS line (packer) in other releases as well?

I suspect these are actually 2 separate releases, the newly added Red_Max-DCS.d64 unpacked file shows signs of a bad reset rip at $fd30 (the vectors have been copied to the underneath RAM), not counting different bytes here and there.
The older "Red Max.t64.gz" is probably a fixed rerelease, packed differently (Super Compressor instead of MC-Cracken compressor) and with correct bytes at $fd30, sign that they noticed their error and redone the release.

Previous upload has a sysline
1941 SYS2061
New d64 upload has a sysline
1986 SYS(2088) THE BREAKER DID IT/1986

I'm thinking my new upload is most likely the original crunched release?

Updated the release year from 1987 to 1986 and credited The Breaker for the crack
