Thx for the info Groepaz. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 24 September 2009
guess what the passtrough connector on mmc64 is for =P
for mmcr you need some expansion port expander, no idea where to find them these days though. | User Comment Submitted by ready. on 24 September 2009
where can I find the connector to plug in both REU and MMC into the expansion port? | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 24 September 2009
i got your point quite well. there is no way to do vice like snapshots except with a freezer. and just saving entire ram is trivial (but its not a vice like snapshot). | User Comment Submitted by booker on 24 September 2009
Groepaz, ok, you didn't get my point. NVM.
Also freezers don't work so well as you may expect :P | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 24 September 2009

no, for that you need a freezer. simply saving the entire ram can be done in pretty much every cartridge that has a monitor. no reu needed for either :)

Would be nice to have a cartidge like that. Also for 1541U.
RAM->REU->1541
RAM->REU->MMC
And back too.
Then you can do RAM snapshots like Vice can, yes? With 512KB or 32MB REU you can have several hot snapshots there too. | User Comment Submitted by hannenz on 14 September 2007
no, there is n odemo dump included, sorry and no it won't work in VICE, since VICE doesn't emulate MMC64 (or does it and i don't know about it??)
could folks please report, if the plugin is working or not, since i got a whole lotta feedback of users who won't get it working for reasons, i can't explain, so i would like to know if this is a general problem or more like some incompatibility with some sd-cards or the like. | User Comment Submitted by FMan on 14 September 2007
All right. Cool! Screenshot looks very nice. I will test it and hopefully there is a demo dump included. :-) Thank you!
PS. Does this work in Vice? ;-)

NOW! Now you have it!
Enjoy this plugin; read the readme for details.... | User Comment Submitted by hannenz on 10 September 2007
hello there. first of all: i did release this package just in a german forum because people there demanded kind of a preview for TESTING! I did NOT release this HERE, because it is completely unfinished. It is nice to see my work appreciated here and people being interested in my releases but i think this should have NOT been released here in this state. (else i would have released it myself, as i always do if i have something to share, which i think other people could like ;)
Second: I wrote a similar comment some days ago here and no ot has moved to the "trivia" section... why is this...???!!
well, now that the entry is here already... ok. I am working in the moment on finishing this tool, which will take me some one or two more days.. to keep you informed, let me tell about what it will be: I have added a nice User Interface where you will choose if the REU is either dumped to MMC or restored from MMC. I'll still have to implement the write routine, so gimme a little more time.
@all: thanks for postive feedback anyway :)
