It somehow reminds me of Masters mixed with a little Collection - Play 2. Nice with the triangular textures.

mmmh, guess i just dont like this one. if i had to make a vague non working comparison, i'd mention JCH. some brilliant pieces second to none, and then there is a whole lot of boring crap.

but i guess some artists just work that way. what divides them from the rest are the few brilliant pieces, not the crap.

and sometimes artists are brilliant only because they got so much attention for their crap :) or something.

Ok, so i believe Joe when he tells me the pic is not wired. It's just not my taste, and yes; 2008 techniques definately make different C64 gfx come to life, I can see now..

I think you're missing a point. If Wanderer would be capable of drawing a picture like that, he wouldn't be the same Wanderer we know today. :)

I don't know anyone in this scene who does him/her job well and I don't respect. What I dislike is some destructive criticisers without a talent. Everybody is free to tell their opinion. But at this point, we are also free to think negative about them (like "stupid asshole!" ;)). That's what freedom is all about.

@ SECRET MAN:

If even WDR made this picture, I whould gladely give him a 10:er. But hey that's just my taste in art. I don't vote for what I feel about people, but for what I can see, hear and feel.

Edit: Thanks for the kind words.

Quoting SECRET MAN:

Vanja voted 10 ! Should i laugh ,now?

I can make the same picture with Timanthes
in 10 minutes.
Yazoo:You would have 1000 covers if i would work the whole day with Timanthes
I prefer Oldskool graphics.

---

I dont want to start a war,but i can have my own opinion,or ?
I dont like these art of pictures.
Here:

Pinball Dreams C64 Preview

Thats a 10 for me!

Sure, you are entitled an opinion of your own. But please stop mocking others of different opinions without thoroughly arguments. I agree my piece of shit is hard to come by. It took some 30 years of living with the fantastic history of art, architecture, literature, music, dance, theatre etc. Some like the outcome/my research; others dislike it – that’s OK!
And oh! That fantastic bird is truly a 10/10!

Jailbird: I wasn't planning on asking him, I just cast doubt on rambones self assured statement that it was.

and isnt it all about the composition in art, not the way people create it?
I personally think the composition is awesome. However Joe made this is not really important. Well to me it aint.

So people screaming about wired or not: accept we are at 2008 and even in c64 productions production-techniques change.

Awesome pic Jope, keep em comming!

Resembles a distorted face. I don't like the technique though. But nevertheless, interesting.

LOL! I also voted a 10.

Are you still laughing SECRET MAN?

Also I might add, Joe seldomly uses Timanthes.
In fact throughout his complete active scene
period I think Drazpaint is probably one
of the most used programs ...

Uh, ok, thank you (?) for bringing up what I voted, I'm not sure why you felt the need to point that out, but alright.

As for your claim... Go ahead then, start Timanthes and see what you can come up with. Or are you all talk? Seriously, show us what you can do.

@Vodka, try instead.. next time tell us when you *don't* see any naked people ;).

In that case, I suggest Joe not to tell if it's wired or not to keep up the mistery. Isn't that just exciting?

Jailbird: Of course. My interpretation of several musical pieces has changed dramatically since I learned how they were produced for example.

Interesting.

And I take your bets on release-time of the next picture on CSDb with an error scale of +/- 1 hour. Can't make your guesses on artists, sorry. That would be even easier to bullseye.

*yawn*
