SEQ files were quite common back then as you could dump them onto the boards via your terminal program. Missing heaps of old board magazines that were SEQ only.

Mace: There are many programs for reading SEQ files, but these lines also do the trick:

0 open1,8,0,"seqfilename,s"
1 get#1,a$:print a$;:goto1

Edit: Try SEQ Viewer, for example.
