I guess from the pic the tune is for 8580?
Buy try it with 6581R4 AR (or Alankila6581R4AR_379 in Sidplay2.5). At least up to 1:13 :) |

While potentially interesting pieces, i believe you would benefit from a more powerful editor than cybertracker.
And for the love of god, please dont cram them all into one entry. You are provoking the locals to tar and feather you.

However, this is what you are supposed to. If you don't want that, keep the tunes unreleased for a while and release them in a pack. In any case: Uploading .SID files -in addition- (or linking to them, if they already are in HVSC) is fine, but please deliver C64 executable files. PSID64 is a handy way of creating them.
Last but not least, screenshots should be made from the C64 file. Do them in an emulator. A photo of your C64 equipment remains a photo, not a screenshot ;-)
PS: Whether a SID music has been made for 8580 (new SID) or 6581 (old SID) should be placed in Production Notes or alike. "Scrolltext and other text in this release" is, as the name indicates, not meant for background information ABOUT the release, but for text which is INSIDE the release. If you are unsure about how to use features of this database, ask. |

Some of the instruments are nice, but the composition in itself feels a little weak.
(Also, people describing Ed's music as "random" should try actually listening to it and analyzing it - he's actually one of the least random C64 composers.) |

Why is the rendition of Bo Hansson's Elidor and the other tune crammed together in one release? And why aren't there runnable .prg's or .d64's attached?
From a completely different point of view - if you'd like to be able to replicate the fuzzy semi-portamento sound (which I somewhat vaguely recall) Bo Hansson use in the tune i'd recommend you to try out Asterion Sid-Tracker V1.1. |
