Absolute masterpiece from MrSID. Thank you for showing what the c64 can really do when a modern game developer decides to grace the system.

Best game ever made for the c64, easily.

Amazing work of convert. Technically also outstanding. you have really captured the essence of this game.
Even if the game is code converted there surely must have been some heavy engine adaptation to manage for the C64 to work. even if using REU part, have you used screen scrolling to via REU or for storage ? never the less the game is captivating. Thanx again for you contributions for these all time classical games that you have put your efforts in... I am still awaiting for some demo from you ;)

Akira: Just like in real life you will get ntsc music speed on ntsc and pal speed on pal. :)

I'm so amazed at this, it's so good! Found a couple of bugs though:
When you hit a horizontal spring, if you press any direction (even the one Sonic is facing towards), Sonic will slow down.
On Green Hill Zone 2, on the last ramp, if you go fast enough, you end up on a buggy part of the map and get stuck in the rolling form.

Also: is there a chance to select the music speed? 50Hz speed for music is really weird to 60Hz people :P

Great work!
