There are no results, because, due to delay with start of voting phase (on my side), credits for some tunes got published (by their authors). All compos I have organized had anonymous voting. If anyone wants to apply result calculation based on rules of other music compos organised on CSDB in later years, he is free to do so. I think everybody will accept them.

so my 5 blocks lousy demo will be ranked at the same place as booze's 8-side-megademo? mmmh, sounds good! :P

User Comment
Submitted by Mr. SID on 31 May 2016
@ZeSmasher: great, I like that idea. Can we use the same rule at the X'16 compos? :)

User Comment
Submitted by Smasher on 31 May 2016
final results: everybody won, nobody lost!

User Comment
Submitted by Mr. SID on 31 May 2016
And another year has passed without any results. \o/

Any final results? My favourites are from GRG and Stinsen.

spider/MYD: I'd bet for Raf or Surgeon ;]

Submitted by spider-j on 3 March 2013
ah, damn. So I think that was a pretty nice compo idea. Unfortunately it didn't work out like it was planned. I'm also still curious who did the Linus-bass tune... (Ona_Tanczy_Dla_Mnie) Felt like Linus' sounds but somehow not like Linus' style,

User Comment
Submitted by iAN CooG on 3 March 2013
sure, got the sid from the author a month ago ;)

User Comment
Submitted by spider-j on 3 March 2013
@iAN: sure? oh then I'm really exited to find out who made this tune, ... because I'm a real dane fan and thought that "Rambo 3" had pretty much dane-feeling in it :-)

User Comment
Submitted by iAN CooG on 3 March 2013
spiderj: no it's not by Dane =)

User Comment
Submitted by spider-j on 3 March 2013
My favs still are not revealed. I guess one is dane with "Rambo 3", the other one I don't know. Maybe the worst original song (except Michael Jackson stuff) from the compo, but so good that my girlfriend thought the one who did the SID tune must be the producer of the original: Tik Tok :-)

User Comment
Submitted by SIDWAVE on 2 March 2013
the compo was anonymous, and now files are uploaded, and composers revealed, but the voting hasnt even begun. what a fucked compo, bad organizing :)

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 4 February 2013
Lol, i hate to ride around on it. but people seem to forget this is a c64.sk compo. It's like you're all first time contestants. <3 ROMAN :-D

User Comment
Submitted by SIDWAVE on 4 February 2013
the voting is taking far too long to start

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 28 January 2013
Aww .-) bring it on!

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 27 January 2013
Stainless. One more tune must be added.

If you want to seriously play guessing game. I will make some script for that at c64.sk. No public guessing please. I would like people to have at least some "suprise moments" when the results ale revealed. Don't spoil that plz. I can't prevent discussions at e.g. #c-64 or somehwere else.. but I will delete such comments here.

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 27 January 2013
So when can we start the guessing game ? :-D

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 27 January 2013
Kristian. Finish it. You can still release it out of compo as bonus. And you should probably have told me privately.. we might have solved that somehow. I always loved the whooshing sound of deadlines as they flew by...

User Comment
Submitted by Kristian on 27 January 2013
I wanted to give this a try (and I did), but I'm only half way finished and it sounds like horseshit (not like that stopped me before) so unfortunately I have to pass.
Oh well, wouldn't stand a chance against the others anyway :)

Submitted by Stainless Steel on 27 January 2013
Seperated ways is my fav so far.

User Comment
Submitted by Romppainen on 21 January 2013
I just LUUUUURVE fireflies ;)

User Comment
Submitted by Kristian on 21 January 2013
It's definitely not bad :)

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 21 January 2013
The song I was talking about is up now ;-) What do you say Kristian? ;-)

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 21 January 2013
Yeah, that one roxxors! :-) Very good choice of original material to cover ;-)

There is one neat cover coming entry #13 if I count right. The original is a bit more cheesy than Jackson, but it's very cute song too. So it depends on the prefferences (and tolerance towards 21 waveform slides - imitating strings ;-)

Still, almost 7 days to (make a) kick ass (cover) and chew bubble gum. Everyone is invited ;-)

User Comment
Submitted by Kristian on 21 January 2013
I'm really looking forward to hear the tune that's gonna beat "Don't stop till you get enough". Fantastic cover.

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 21 January 2013
Deadline extended to Sunday, 27 January 2013 23:59 submitted tunes so far: 11 tracks (+3 waiting in queue to be upped). Enjoy.

Submitted by Linus on 17 May 2010
Indeed ;) C´mon man, let´s get going! :)

I think I'm aspiring to get scene prize for most delayed compo ever.

Submitted by PAL on 14 September 2009
Jan: is that a bad or a good thing? I sense that you think it is a bad thing but I assume that is just a good thing...

User Comment
Submitted by SIDWAVE on 14 September 2009
The covers i made for this are now so old they sound like 1986 stuff..

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 14 September 2009
Stainless Steel. No problemo. I have organised so many sid compos and co-organised (and still organise) so many parties, that I don't feel too much guilt or embarrassment. (yet)

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 14 September 2009
Forgive us if we dont hold our breath :-D

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 14 September 2009
I'm alive and around. On saturday I was in a local pub on a small concert of Caroline Hitland (Norway), her partner Stanislav (Slovakia) (guitar and vocals) and some other guy playing guitar. It was fabulous concert. It indirectly made me feel much better about the c64 music scene, I felt like doing some stuff around music again. Anyway if everything goes allright and I won't, eventually forget, I could start cover compo #2 in the times of c64.sk compo (that means somewhere around 8.november.).

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 23 March 2009
In my desperation and anticipation, I have made a total of 3 (THREE) cover tunes. Please dont torture us any longer, Roman :-D

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 22 March 2009
if everything goes allright (in real life) with taxes and all that crap then yes.
roman

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 22 March 2009
So is this going to happen or what?

User Comment
Submitted by Linus on 11 February 2009
Yep, indeed. Take your time, Roman.

User Comment
Submitted by Mace on 11 February 2009
Good for you, CreaMD!
First things first.

User Comment

/o\

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 11 February 2009
Ok I had to do this. I have to postpone the compo for both personal and scene reasons. First there is Forever 2009 in middle of the march where I'm organising (together with Wotnau and JTR) the C64 section and for which I have to prepare.

As far as personal reasons are concerned. I need to concentrate more on my business now.

I'm sorry for this.

User Comment
Submitted by Conrad on 7 February 2009
What should we do? For those of us who have finished our entries, what about adding them onto here? (Without credits!)
Once Roman is well, he can then collect them and then start proper judging/ranking from there.

y/n?

EDIT: or what we could do is email our entries to CreaMD. Some sid vibes may make him feel better ;)

User Comment
Submitted by SIDWAVE on 7 February 2009
I have finished tune..

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 7 February 2009
Well, the compo officially ends tomorrow. I wonder when the results will be published ? \:-D/

PS I hope CreaMD is allright.

User Comment
Submitted by Mace on 5 February 2009
LOL @ StainlessSteel :D

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 5 February 2009
Chances are, this will be the first c64.sk compo where all the tunes are actually finished before the compo has started :-D

User Comment
Submitted by Jammer on 4 February 2009
flu and chickenpox everywhere :|

User Comment
Submitted by Richard on 4 February 2009
O.k. thanks Orcan ;)

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 31 January 2009
Well, atleast everybody got plenty of time to get their tunes in gear :-D

User Comment
Submitted by Orcan on 31 January 2009
I have some info. Roman and his family are ill, but there is a chance the compo will start in the near future.

User Comment
Submitted by Orcan on 31 January 2009
I sent him a SMS yesterday but I have not any answer yet. His phone is unreachable at this moment

User Comment
Submitted by Orcan on 30 January 2009
Ok, I will try to call Roman this evening and leave a message here.

User Comment
Submitted by Conrad on 29 January 2009
Sent an email to Roman almost a week ago but haven't heard anything. He'll be busy probably.

User Comment
Submitted by SIDWAVE on 29 January 2009
My tune is 95% finished!!!!
I want to send soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 29 January 2009
Any news?

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 21 January 2009
Don't worry I'm around... I'm not the top organiser in the world (if that is an excuse...)

User Comment
Submitted by Mace on 21 January 2009
Not that it's any of my concern (I won't participate), but wouldn't it be some idea to add a co-organiser? :-)

User Comment
Submitted by Orcan on 21 January 2009
Is anybody there? Something must be wrong or ...

User Comment
Submitted by Hate Bush on 17 January 2009
fortunately so, because i already have a sketch bad enough to enter the competition

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 16 January 2009
work overload, evenings are bit wasted too.. now for family weekend in Bratislava. Let's say this Sunday. The compo is of course lasting 3 weeks since start. hrmpfz..

User Comment
Submitted by Jammer on 16 January 2009
so let's delay the deadline ;)

User Comment
Submitted by Orcan on 16 January 2009
Roman: everyone is looking forward to listening new covers. Lets start

User Comment
Submitted by SIDWAVE on 16 January 2009
You said A, now you have to say B!

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 13 January 2009
It will officially start today or tommorow. As usual I'm trying to concentrate some motivation for that. ;/

User Comment
Submitted by SIDWAVE on 13 January 2009
How about posting this properly on c64.sk ? with rules etc. ?

User Comment
Submitted by Richard on 12 January 2009
This time, I am not going to do a trance/dance or disco track :)

User Comment
Submitted by Orcan on 12 January 2009
I will ask Roman

User Comment
Submitted by hevosenliha on 12 January 2009
Is there any info about this? Rules? And so on...

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 12 January 2009
Due to private life problems, i probably will not be able to take part this time.

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 10 January 2009
Ah it should start today and I'm at my workplace now. hmm ;-)

User Comment
Submitted by Stainless Steel on 9 January 2009
Let me guess. You want to try a totally different stlye. With new instruments. And a music editor from this century :-D

User Comment
Submitted by Richard on 6 January 2009
Hmm. I think I have an idea for a cover :]
