@Axis: Alpha-Bit joined DS Compware for just a short time. But he later rejoined BST again as far as i remember.

i can remember me that alpha bit left BST in 88 , but i can't remember why ..
if he left the scene or joined another group or re-joined to bst later i don't know..

I can't remember much about (getting old *g* ;) but I'm sure we haven't really joined BST (and if only for a short time, then changed to great coop as both groups wanted to stay independent). After a long time I have met Volker (my old mate GSS Worldwide) again and I have asked him about some more details and according to him I finally would say a cooperation maybe fit better...changed it.

I don't believe that The Bitstoppers was a subgroup of GSS. I think GSS joined The Bitstoppers. Take a look at Zorro Theme...

Dueco you're right. 2 of them lived around you. Stefan and Uwe. Uwe was known as Alpha Bit. Don't know Stefan's handle; but indeed he was the chief of The Bitstoppers...

Maybe anyone has more information about those guys?

One of the early groups in the mid eighties and a powerful one indeed. Although two members used to live around the corner I never managed to figure out the structure of the group. Good times though! Greetings Stefan and Uwe!
