Their member status was back then top secret because some of them have already been busted by the German police.
Elite was mainly built by remains of Strike Force & The Movers, Radwar, The Wanderer Group.
They have used an old Strike Force & The Movers Intro and exchanged the Logos by "Germany's Elite"
Elite was rebuilt in October 1991 by Conan, Sting (ex-Paramount, Enigma) and Maniac (ex-Paramount, Pandora).
Citadel of Illusion became Elite HQ in the States, shared with the importing group Glory. Their comeback release was Exile +2 [pal/ntsc].

We choosed Elite or The Elite on the day of foundation. First releases have been Frexel+ , Down at the Trolls+4 and Starball+...
When you check this releases you will not see Germany's Elite... Some times later Conan decided to reuse the SF/Movers Intro and so he kicked Strike Force/The Movers out and implemented Germany's Elite... That all founding members came from germany wasn's a secret back then.

| Actually it never was "Germany`s Elite" it was just "Elite". But then again there used to be some group from Sweden who already used that name previously... |

| Everybody remembers their legendary intro saying 'Germanys Elite' with the moving logos at the upper and downer part of the screen with a fast rocking sound and the small 1x1-scroller in the middle. Dynamix re-covered that intro saying 'Germanys Dynamix' in 1990 and again the memories to Elite popped up. I remember that the member-status was supposed to be kept in secret, but like always in the scene that secret did not last for long - they should not have used an old intro from Strike Force and Movers though. |
