Paradize was established in 1988 by Dennis, John (Genius) en Reyn Ouwehand.
During the first years, Dennis maintained contact with Shezz of House Design, dudes in Fristies and various others. Several small (coop) demos and even a game (Arena) were released prior to Wet Dreams.
1990-1991
The quality of that particular demo attracted several sceners, e.g. Thomas (Dub1), Ben (Anorganic), Cybex. Soon Paradance was released at a Silicon party in Utrecht. Despite the fact that the judges classified the code in Paradance as 'outstanding', Focus' Visual Delight won that demo competition due to the fabulous graphics. Focus received some dough.. Paradize won a GameBoy with the game tetris, hence the GameBoy part in WDii!)
1992 - 1993
Due to networking by Silco and Moren/ Moron several talented dudes joined us: Mozicart (Geir en Trond), Hobbit, Elvin (Ventura) and Jasper (Adam).
Wet Dreams II was released at the 1991 Winter Silicon Party and again it just reached a mere second place, beaten by a pre-release of Blackmail's Dutch Breeze.
Dub1, Geir and Silco produced the game 'Paranoid' with great music by Geir!
1993 -
Hyperactive ace-coding brothers Dub1 & Adam produced quite a few neat routines, to be compiled in 'That demo..' supported by low-level interrupt loaders and packers by Ventura.
Ventura wrote a music routine, used by Martijn (Junebug/ POP).
Anorganic moved, found himself in class with Bas (Compyx of Focus) and shortly after joined the forces of Focus. Dennis concentrated on studying. Dub1 was engaged in programming the C64 version of Lemmings. Moren joined SCS + TRC and started to employ other activities than purely swapping.
Slowly but surely Paradize faded into oblivion.
