Amazing routines algorithm. It's not nice to listen too now, but i love to see this evolve.

Also, it's good enough to let youtube know it's copyrighted material ;)

I don't think you gotta hide the encoder. Chances that someone will use it to flood us with soso quality samples ain't very high.

To me, it was an interesting and impressive experiment again, though quality is still imperfect.

To convert speech, bassline, instrumentation into three channels without deliberate preprocessing can ask too much from the SID certainly. From recent tests any speech only data sounds smooth and recognisable. Was going to release the encoder on csdb, but I guess too much bleeps and bloops according to a certain individual is not good :-) Will keep the encoder to myself :-)

@groepaz. Yes I agree that there is a lot of work still to be done in regards to the quality. I never claimed the quality was great. If you read the production notes you will notice that I near or enough said otherwise. What I do claim is that the quality has increased since the last two frodigi demos and works a lot better for content that would have choked more in previous implementations which also answers oswalds question. Encoding the same audio content in this updated encoder would always be of higher quality than the encoded examples in frodigi 1/2

it would be nice to see (hear) the same thing with various versions of frodigi. I still find frodigi 1 the best with human voice only. I wonder how much better tell it to your heart would be with this one ? the music + singing together is too much for the tech imho.

it would be funny to see a singing demo with this tech :)

Didi, 0 out of 10: ) Ignore the gfx, that was only a filler There was 2-3k space left, so I decided to incorporate the 50fps animation effect just for some minor eye candy. (Its supposed to be a proof of concept audio demo)
