Monte: First working title was "lots4rasters" but 4 ain't really a lot :) So I counted splits somehow from left to right and ended with 88 without scroll (because there aint't any vertical splits in that)

Sprites made things rather complicated. The good old ROL method was too RAM hungry, plotting 21 characters into sprites each x-th frame is rather rastertime-hungry and to display use only 7 sprites (not wasting rastertime for using the invisible 8th) made it necessary to switch to 38-columns mode to hide some glitches. That of course also cost some vertical splits (some more are there but not to be seen/hidden in side border)

Don't take that 88 too seriously, though, it's no record attempt anyway - There's that German saying "Egal ist 88" ("88 = doesn't matter") because you can turn that no. anyway you want and it still reads 88. And I liked to have 2, 4 and 8 in the title.

Nice splitism. How do you count splits? I see 46. Like the sprite colors, though.

Great intro, but the colors hurt my eyes. ;)=

Cool! Crunchy music accompanying those bars. I like the pattern setup of the screen
and the colors give a different depth, quite different from the ordinary.
