Based on an image from a magazine, Robo Sonic represented a test, to see what it was like to use Funpaint, and create an IFLI picture, as this was my first attempt. Robo Sonic offered the ideal subject matter, as there was no background detail to ideal with. Funpaint crashed a number of times, and when attempting to create the shadow below Robo Sonics boots, the colour black was not available, thus dark grey was opted for. This would prove to be the only time I would use Funpaint, later moving on to the more reliable Gunpaint/Jan Zimmermann [1994] |
