Seems like Firmware 3.1 removed the command I used to get the current working directory. Sigh.
I'll see what I can do - in the meantime this will be FW2.6 ONLY.

Doesn't work here either (u2+). Makes me wonder if the ultimate audio feature even still works ;-)

I have a 1541U2 with firmware 3.1. I can't quite figure out how to actually load this thing. The program (rush.prg) says "Unable to open rush.dat" after loading+ executing. The "rush.dat" file exists in the same directory as the "rush.prg" file. I've tried to run it from the root of the SD card.

I've followed the instructions about how to set the settings as far as I can tell.

Ahh, ok :) I thought the single drive version only has SID emulation included and that the sampled audio stuff is in both. Thanx for the tip.

@Tom-Cat: You need to use the single-drive audio version of the firmware - NOT the dual drive version.

Hmm, in my 2.6k firmware there aren't any Sampler settings inside the Audio menu, only Drive A/B and Cassette Write/Read... :(

Readded the old download link.
@hedning: thanks for uploading the file in parts - seems like my webhost was down but now everything works again.

I hate external links. Can't trust them. If file is too big, split it. I did it and uploaded the release again. Enjoy. Dead link had 181 DL:s.

Download link is dead. :-( Anyone got it and feels like re-adding it?

Great port! But... wouldn't be better for common release under the names of the two groups isn't it? ;)

Tried it from an SD card instead of a USB stick, and it did the trick.

Great work! Nice to see it on real hardware instead of a video.

Please try a cleanly formatted SD card, preferabely class 4 or higher

Got the firmware updated and all the settings set correctly. Now I get about half a second of the demo, then it exits and prints a message as though the demo is over. Guess I must be missing something.

Yes - you need at least Firmware Release 2.6 for "Ultimate DOS" - this was developed with Release 2.6h.

i think you need one of the last 2.6 firmwares and a 1541U-II (no ulttimate audio on the U-I)

I don't seem to have most of the options specified in the txt file of my 1541 Ultimate 2.5α from 2012. The only thing I could find in the menus was "Cartridge -> None" actually. Do I need to update the firmware?
