Both parts of this game in Gamebase 64 were bugged.

Part 1 crashed after entering the lake and swimming west.
The graphics data located above VIC II memory was loaded to the wrong address.

Part 2 would not allow the flower to be discovered in the hydroponics room, thereby making the adventure unsolvable.
Same bug existed on the Plus 4 version - no handler for the Scott Adams standard action to drop two objects simultaneously.

All known dumps of the tape(s) contain these errors, and with similar bugs appearing on the Plus 4, it is likely that Tynesoft rushed these conversions out the door with fatal bugs and all. Savage Island has been unplayable on C64 for 30+ years.

This crack fixes the critical bugs as well as adding the following:

• Both parts single-filed and re-packed:
Can be loaded directly as individual games or launched from the “*” boot menu.
• Trainer added: The random death in these games is very unfair. With the trainer enabled, the message explaining your death appears, but you will not die.
• Both parts tested to completion.
• Docs: Complete step-by-step solution provided on disk in plain SEQ form. Additional guides provided on disc for hint-style walkthrough.
• Util: Sequential file document reader with additional support for output to CBM printers.

The fixed game is available for download here:

A collection of documentation, tape, and box scans for these games is also available:
http://cloud.cbm8bit.com/brata...extras.zip (8.4 MB)

Special thanks to Litwr and Csabo on Plus 4 World for inspiration and providing the groundwork for the flower bug fix. Also, thanks to cbm8bit for the awesome cloud file hosting service.

Enjoy! Happy to knock another game off the Gambebase 64 bugged game list.
