Absolutely one of the most original demo ever with top notch art material! I'm speechless. You did something really special and unforgettable.

Just watched this demo again and, wow, it really is fantastic. Not just the graphics and music, though, the code here is very impressive too. A fantastic job all round. We need more like this!

OK I'm not gonna lie; I always thought PETSCII was crap and never collected any demos because I thought the charset is so rudimentary and limited.

How you guys prove me wrong! These gfx have so much versatility and detail that I can't believe my eyes it's done with PETSCII! First demo of this kind I'm gonna keep. Yes it is THAT good!

Other demos may probably be more technically advanced. But THIS demo is the most C64ish up to date and one can just see it. It deserves an Oscar. (Although i haven't been involved and i'd have some minor... but... anyways.)

G*P #1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111eleven

Sorry that it took me so long to check this one out. Real life is kind of "interesting" atm, besides too many projects in the pipe to check out so many great releases without some delay...

Of course I expected sth lovely.

My high expectations were not disappointed. Uber-lovely :)

Especially the parallax scrolling part(s) work great!

Keep PETSCIIing, scene :)

BTW: many dudes were asking me to organize new CSDb standalone compo. Let's do this in a non-X year :)

the resolution make it more real than the lame multicolor koala format... when you craft it with the skill-level of redcrab there is absolutely a new bar for realism and coolness... almost like this is much more beleivable than dithers and the flinkis flinkis best of the crops... just because the best are best with less... Fantastic demo... I take my hat and eat it two times ;-)

truly 100% petscii was a very nice feat, mad props to redcrab for making it feel like it wasn't ;)

soundtrack is also seriously cool, when stinsen drops the beat... just great :)

flow, storyline and of course, the dancing alien topped it all off.

The PETSCII is absolute ossom, i mean, there's so much detail in it, especially on the space bar scene with so many known and easy to recognise characters. Codewise however there's of course nothing outstanding, but the idea and implementation counts.
