from the author (not me):
Hello everyone. It is my first post so I would like to greet all of you, but I don't want you to get bored about description of my origin, so in short: I was just observer of C64 scene but I wanted to do something for the C64 community and this is one of those projects.

AIMP is a player similar to Winamp, and this plugin allows to play SID files.
The plugin is based on libsidplayfp/ReSidfp library (with small changes) and has features:
- play SID files with up to 48kHz decoding frequency
- play 2sid and 3sid files
- allows to select songlength file from HVSC to play files with apropriate time or...
- allows to set play time limit for songs with unknown length
- allows to select different type of SID model for left and right channel (for single sid files too) it is so-called pseudostereo mode
- allows to enabled/disable SID voices independly for each emulated SID (in pseudostereo mode)
- seek through song, this feature works little slow, because we can't jump directly to point in time but have to decode song in speedup mode until it reaches appropriate time
- it automatically adds subsongs to playlist

If you have problem with installing or configuing it I can describe it in more details.
And one more thing - link to git repository if someone want to peek into code: https://github.com/zbych-r/aimp_sidplay
