HCL: i meant, "just shut the fuck up, go on working and release" instead of this kindergarten here.

Hcl:
Since I'm almost finished with my new demo (it lacks all code, almost all graphics and has no music, but the ideas are almost finished) what percentage could I clame that it's up to?

I do presume it's less than 73% but how much less?

@Trash: Don't worry. The next time you need to calculate this, you'll know how to do it.

@Puterman: Dane is always over estimating. I sent him 97%, so either he added something which made it 98% or he just pulled your nose! Did you really believe that you saw the 98% version!?!

HCL: Actually, the disk said "Tsunami 98%", so it seems you're one percent behind Dane! You guys need a realignment.

@HCL:

Can you explain to the scene the exact formula for calculating progress on a demo?

Is the formula weighted, eg. sinuses is 14.12% of the entire demo, partfaders is 16.83% and so on?

But please, no explanation is needed if it interfeers with the productionrate of Tsunamis last 3% (fine tuning of sinuses and tables?) because I am eager to see it...

The 97% version was shown at Deadline2007 last weekend. Just to tease you ;).

After some 360s in the frensh powder and some hard work, Tsunami just passed 90%. Then we all know that the last 10% will take 90% of the total time, which brings the estimated release date: 2007-08-23. Hmm, better cut som of those last percents.. ;). Anyway, i'm working hard in silence to make that release date come closer.

@HCL: Just don't make me wanna do Avalanche 87%.

Some scener(s) (was he one or was he two? ;) requested a status-bar on this demo, and i thought that's not a bad idea. I have now Tsunami 81% in my diskbox :). I'll have a break now for 10 days together with my snowboard, some friends and some frensh alps, so no need to bug me anyway ;).
