I think more people would appreciate it, changing the code would be easy in this case.

Thanks, this was one of my favorite ZX Spectrum games. But conversion to C64 was unfortunately quite slow, here the speed increase is noticeable at a glance. If I run game on C128, will it use 2Mhz in the border?

Nice release and hats off for the effort in improving this old game. It's really tempting to help out in speeding it up even more but..
?too many projects error
@Digger: that intro is f**king neat!!! You obviously *did* overcome all critical points, but frankly spoken I was never in doubt;) It really really *shines*

@DKT: Thx, the theme is actually from Apple Mac OS and first Photoshop release... I've been toying with the idea of canvas background for a while – and to make everything looking like hires (the logo is using charmode actually).

Ha, Elysium is playing with preservation/cracking/optimisation of the game :) really unexpected.
The intro looks very original! I love the logo, that scroll fonts, Amiga Paint (?) icons and Amiga (Mac?) menu above!

all: Thank you very much for your feedback so far.
jammer: well, your question actually has merit. The goal of course wasn't to improve it by 15%. The goal was to give it a try, test the tools, methods etc (as a result we've pushed the tools capabilities with Slajere, which will benefit everybody) and release whatever will be the outcome. 50% or 15%. And yes, i would love to have more and it is probably possible but at the same time i need to allocate my time sensibly so after reaching this point i said - enough. Alternative story could be that we did have a great intro (hammer) and we were looking for a thing to attach this intro to (nail) :)

Elysium intro is gorgeously designed and I totally love Carrion's title screen. I'm only wondering if rewriting quite slow game into a still quite slow game has any sense ;)

That title screen is gorgeous! Nice work on the optimisation, too.

This is one of 2 best releases from this party (the other one is NGC1277 80%). I love both: the intro, new title picture and optimization is technically brilliant even if some room for improvement has been still left.

the intro is brilliant so is the title screen. the game is less my cup-of-tea (and frankly i didn't figure what is purpose) but the rest is a real candy!! ps. the music in the intro is a ear-worm!

The game also features a title screen by Carrion and brand new track by Shogoon.

The font used in the intro (hand crafted by me) is available at FontStruct in two versions: plain and with drop shadow:

This can be safely set as C64 Game, it's a rework/hoverhaul of an existing game so it's not simply a crack and surely not a "C64 Misc"
