nice, can you do a "master maker" type program ?.. sorta like what Richard does with the loader with the editor but a bit more .. BUT it's a self contained dupe program for generating tapes.. so you just get a prompt to "record".. a certain software house, I got tapes from used that setup :) .

To save you the click to the summary ;)

TapeTool 1.0.0.7 is a PC / Command line based tape mastering utility, which is built via the ACME cross assembler.

The program allows you to generate a digital .tap image if compiling is successful.

The tape loader source is fully customisable, which means that you can have the ability to change the style and scheme of the tape loader to how you like it to appear.

To write back to tape, you will need a working 1541Ultimate with tape adapter, or Ultimate 64, or any PC based audio software that can handle the C64's waveforms and a device for recording to a tape.

What does it do?

* Some error message improvements when files cannot be found
* Added loading bitmap display example code

The example "test.tap" shows the block decompression while loading is especially visible during the bitmap load.
