It seems that the end sequence has no sound at all if you choose to watch it from the trainer menu...
It's fine instead if you play the game and skip levels like a monkey to watch it (or play this cool game entirely...)

There might be a slim edge case, that when approaching the "mini boss" on level 20, that you can kill him with "one shot" (when screen is scrolling) or "bomb" (when screen is not scrolling). Even though I disabled both these features. This will result in the boss being killed, but the game won't advance (use level skip now).
