The Sprite format of the original Kung Fu Pixel is no coincidence.
An earlier version of the game allowed you to choose at what size you wanted to play the game (sprite, expanded sprite, 8x4 pixel blox, 16x8 pixel blox). The end idea was you could get the game for free in sprite size, but pay to get it larger.
Of course noone wanted to buy the game anyway and the features were unfinished anyway. |
