I had a silly idea of a continuously scrolling demo. The team did like it then we developed a steampunk style C64 motherboard schematics graphics with as much animation as possible.
Music HAD to be industrial and slow paced, so the challenge was to sound modern and still remain somewhat enjoyable.
The demo contains 10 screens of graphics with tons of animations.
Under the hood: Variable speed VSP scroll with FLD and sprite sync, sprite multiplexer, bitmap color change and animation. Dynamic raster IRQ handling and memory management (load/unload assets at runtime), continuous loading from disk.
Endpart effect is fully scalable, parameters can be changed realtime. |
