@chancer
I have watched that video in the past. Yesterday i watched it for a second time ^_^

Part of me wished Jon Hare had continued on the path of more Wizball style shoot'em up's, opposed to sport related titles, which appear to have filled up much of Hare's career. To be honest, the only sport's title i have any interest in is MicroProse Soccer on the C64, which as Jon points out, was inspired by an arcade game from Konami which featured a trackball.

Awesome work! I still remember the first time i ran Wizball while going through disks brought home from school with a friend. We were simply mesmerized by the game and played it all night. Again and again. The design. The music. <3

Simple and very effective. I know this is not simple to do and involves a lot of planning getting the colors to work as they do against the gradient in the background. Great work! Some day when I grow up I will do PETSCII too!

Some games, images and music still hold you spellbound. Wizball is one of them and what I love so much is the cooperative mode – playing together rather than towards eachother. I’ve always fancied the cover and felt like making a PETSCII version of it, from sheer enjoyment – not caring about compos and results this time. Hope you like it guys!
