Monster Mash II was actually fake, as the original author did not create the sequel to the original release. Just like with Twin Tiger II, the game originally had a new front end bolted on to it. This version of the game looks as if the game was stripped from the new front end and level settings were changed and the original author's name credited in this fake release as a joke - then passed over to the crackers (unless they did this version themselves). A block scroll bug was left in the background.
