The MMC No Blocks Boot is something of a hybrid. The original menu was developed by Dosoft and, if memory serves, taken from a Datel utility disk; it was was pulled apart, bug fixed to remove a crash bug that kicked in if there were lots of files in the disk directory and if memory serves the fast loader was improved at the same time.
The no blocks "installer" was pulled from another disk menu, this time by Trilogic and shipped with the Expert Cartridge programming software (users could put a far simpler menu onto a disk of frozen programs).
