GEd v08
General purpose graphics editor for the Commodore 64
I have owned a copy of GEd v08 since 1994. I also own a copy of GEd v1.0c (that fails to load) complete with 46 page user Manuel. Now in 2010 I see no reason why GEd should not be available on CSDb, as the program has no commercial value. Without the user Manuel it is difficult to use. With the user Manuel, it is difficult to use. With persistence, it is possible to get results.
GEd allows for the creation of characters, tiles of various sizes, and sprites.
GEd was used to create the characters, that make up the tiles that allowed for the creation of the backdrops for Kong.
