Nice happy cat with lovely texture. Too bad the outlines are a bit pixly.

This pixeling failed for me, sorry to say JSL. I like the color fades, but somehow, the rest falls short for me. Perhaps it's the lack of any 3d perspective, as shown in a lot of your previous works, it just doesn't stand out in front of me.

While I am a cat lover, and have 2 cats myself (angoran long hair and american short hair), this just somehow lacks something.

I do, however, think it's awesome that you drew it on paper first! I would love to have you touch up several pictures I've drawn on paper! I simply haven't the time to get seriously involved in pixels anymore. There are about 7 logo's I've drawn that still haven't been released, and when they finally are, I think everyone will be like, no way! Eric could never draw something like that!

One thing I have noticed about myself. I tend to code when drunk, draw (or pixel) when high and release when drunk. Explains a lot about my person. Tonight, I'm getting drunk for the first time this year!!! And amazingly enough, on drink #2 and have a release in mind, haha.

Sorry for the bad review man. I feel bad because I admire a lot of your work.

@JSL: you have to re-format the pic in AMICA Paint after changing a color on the whole screen: go to O (special commands) -> U for Umformatieren. Best make a sefety copy to the second graphics screen before (S -> K), and use the * asterisk to switch to clash mode (A) (AmicaPaint 1.8; if you are not using this version, I highly recommend to do so, has some nice extras!).
On the cat: nice one, I like it a lot! :)

Since I made this picture the same way as "EVIL", I sketched out the
cat, scanned it, converted it to c64, pixeled it to beauty.. I had
a problem that I used grey outline for the whole cat, lateron when
the cat was finished I changed it to black, since it suited the
picture better, AntiAlias around the cat wasn't possible anymore,
somehow pixeling these converts, with amica paint: old color=new
color, just doesn't work, getting clashproblems.. So don't mind the
AntiAlias which isn't there.. Another cat for Leon, Hurray!! ;)
