Ho-hum, seems there was a tiny issue that deserves a bugfix release: the logic for skipping the module autostart was reversed, so *not* holding RUN/STOP would prevent it. Fixed in the brand-new version 2.2.

what sledge sez about speed of longer dir display is the only thing that could be improved

Tried this one yesterday, and it's a really helpful kernel when you have a sd2iec-device. Not many things to complain about. Really long directories takes some time to list, but nothing that bothers me too much.

Super tiny update in 2.1: the last free 2 bytes are used to append a colon to the list and run commands. Among insiders also called "BIF-Gedächtnis-Patch" :-D
