Handlestory :
During my early times of copying games with school mates, I became fascinated by cracktros. While my friends pressed the long one as quickly as they could to get into the game, I felt drawn to the atmosphere, slang, and topics I could read about in those cracktros (especially those by The Papillons - brilliant music). So already way before I started codin', I had chosen a handle, that I used with school mates atleast as early as Sept. 1991. At the time I was into gothic horror, so when I saw in a toy catalog that there was an Action Force figure called Ghostrider, I picked it right away as a handle.

Trivia :
Got my first 64 in 1989 (I guess), my first 1541II in 1990 afair, and after a few years of BASIC programming, I started codin' machine code during the summer holidays of 1992 - immediately after the Samsø Pardey. Joined No Name some time in 1993, but before The Party 3 in Herning. (I have the date on a piece of paper - s o m e w h e r e ).

Outside the scene: Since 2007 I've been working as a software developer in a department tasked with preserving the Danish digital cultural heritage - so concerns about digital preservation take up a bit of the RAM in my head. :)

About this site:
CSDb (Commodore 64 Scene Database) is a website which goal is to gather as much information and material about the scene around the commodore 64 computer - the worlds most popular home computer throughout time. Here you can find almost anything which was ever made for the commodore 64, and more is being added every day. As this website is scene related, you can mostly find demos, music and graphics made by the people who made the scene (the sceners), but you can also find a lot of the old classic games here. Try out the search box in the top right corner, or check out the CSDb main page for the latest additions.
