Gairy    (1 January 1984 - 1 January 1990)

Ex member of :
The Harlow Cracking Service
Function :
Coder

Handle alternative spelling :
Chris Gair

Handlestory :
Simple way to create a handle, just add a Y. Freak always called him Gairy the Hairy and he dosn't like being called Gairy any more.

Trivia :
Gairy swapped code with Ash & Dave, wrote music for a game using a re-written hubbard sound player by taking all the best fx from several games including digi drums and whoosh, the best player on the planet. I saw this demo once where he created a colored checkered effect by switching off the screen (border only) and changing the border color every x machine cycles. Using a joystick, you could smoothly scroll the who screen up/down. When he was 14, he worked out the machine cycles used to draw every raster line on screen. He got bored with the scene and gave up programming. He now works for a Japanese Bank in London.
