Any chance of uploading the credited .prg and .sid files sometime? Other attenders need to be added too.

Thanx. It seems I'm getting some routine in that.. ...plus the JFDI concept works very well on this kind of tasks ;-).

A BIG HUG to Roman for another excellent Sid Compo! and for breaking the tradition and publishing the results so quickly!

for the first time I filled out a complete votesheet, hell I even commented. was pretty easy to use.

but one tune got added after the deadline? whats up with that? ;) just read my mail ;)

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 2 December 2008
0-9 was example..as far as I remember I was always using 1-9. ;-)

User Comment
Submitted by booker on 2 December 2008
Well yeah perchaps it's easier, but not fair as I can't really say how do I like tunes by the postional voting system.

For eg. I can't give 2x 10pts for 2 tunes, and... say 3x 9pts and so forth.

So tunes I regard as best, and there are few, I have to put in order which is irrelevant :)

Also 0-9 is a bit disrespectful scale ;)

OK. EOM!

(end of moaning)

Regards

I understand what you mean Booker. Yes it's quite hard to order tunes on the paper while listening at home. It's easier to give 0-9 as you listen. But as Jammer says I found it a bit more fair when there is more than 20 tunes in the compo.

User Comment
Submitted by Jammer on 2 December 2008
i don't really agree as i find it easier and more fair ;)

Teh position voting system is ok in terms of drag-and-drop stuff, but it's hard to vote like this.

It's easier by giving points 1-10.

Good work anyway Roman!

Deadline shifted to 30th of November 2008 (Sunday 23:59). Enjoy composing.

One of my favourite things of the latest compos, was reading Jucke's comments :) Bring them on, Jucke!

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 9 November 2008
Jucke. The commenting is still there. It has always been. Just try to vote and then you will see what I mean.

Maybe it is a bit hidden when you don't try voting but it's still there and works exactly as before with the difference that you can change and update anything anytime on fly..

The voting is on-fly, which means you can order tunes as they come and don't have to spend 2 hours session after the end of the compo.

I never got that voting system...

User Comment
Submitted by Jucke on 8 November 2008
CreaMD: please bring back the voting system where you could comment every release. when you changed it into that "rank" system last year, it just took away all the fun for me as a observer and voter, and many with me. Isnt it more interesting what people think of the music, and why, rather than "which one is best"?

Zyron: I would be honoured.

User Comment

So is it on or what ?

User Comment
Submitted by Akira on 30 October 2008
I meant the deadline is 24th of November ;)
That gives me plenty of time to finish my SX64 mod and start tracking.

User Comment
Submitted by CreaMD on 29 October 2008

Oh yay, 24 November! My SX will be up and running by then. :)

I count you in of course! ;-) I wish it was the biggest online C64 music compo ever. (if my calculations are right, all it needs is to get at least 44 musicians onboard ;-))

Submitted by Dane on 27 November 2007
Count me in, Roman. I've got one last chance to make your heart go boom.
