So yesterday, while I was taking a shower, I came up with this stupid little idea for a compo. The general goal of this compo is to make a song that sounds "orchestra"-ish, kind of a "emulate real instruments as best as you can" compo. One example I can think of terms of how to go about this would be to listen to songs like Tim Follin's Ghouls n' Ghosts or subtune 1 of Joachim Wijnhoven's Linko. Each participant can do up to 3 entries, and each entry needs to be at least 90 seconds in length. No limits on filters, arps, etc, and of course no covers or remixes. Just have fun! As always, feel free to ask questions, and I hope to keep the comment updates to a minimum this time around.
