Not to be mixed up with the German demogroup from 1989 called Abstract aswell.
Sexton has started the group when he was kicked out of G*P. After the Fresh Party 1990, Mirage, Krush and Oxygene left Fresh to join Abstract.
Abstract had a coop with Dynamix starting in Feb 1990. The First release of the Co-op was Great Courts. Also see Just Some Infos.
When Abstract died, most active members built up a new group called Crusade.
