Trivia :
How I started on C64:
- By mistake I bought a Commodore Plus4 in 1986; as there was hardly any software available, I started programming in basic
- In 1987 I exchanged my C+4 against a C64 and I immediately got a lot of games/demos on the c64 from friends at school
- In 1988 I got my hands on hot modem wares which I bought locally from Cpt Trubble . I resold all games to a circle of Swiss c64 gaming freaks (Swiss Shadowfire Soft)
- In Jan 1989 I have built Future Vision; Future Vision got a coder (Lynx, nowadays the godfather of my youngest son) and we started programming and releasing demos
- Our first demo was ranked on the 3rd place in the democompetition of the Crazy + Stardom Copy-Party 1989. After this party Future Vision joined Fresh and I started coding assembler and swapping. My first contact outside Switzerland was The Judge. My first Swiss real mail trading partner was Pat Boon, who back then got fast modem warez (btw. he's still a good friend nowdays; we have been studying together at the University of Basel).
- In fall 1989 Cpt Trubble stopped on C64 and I took over some of his mail contacts like Bod/Talent, Richie/Illusion and Bob/Censor; this was the point when I really got into hot elite mail trading
- In 1990 I joined Talent and I bought a 1200 baud modem; first BBS I ever called was Warez Castle
- In 1991 I travelled the United States with a couple of friends and visited: Nightwriter, Hammertime and Mixmaster (thanks Terry! still DJ-ing?)
- In 1992, the probably best period in my scene life started: Richie called me up and asked me if I'd like to rebuild Illusion along with some of the former members.
- In 1993 Illusion died due to internal disagreements regarding our new (lame) US section (see Explanations!)
- Togther with Deff and Jack Daniels (whom I had meet some time ago an the ECTS show) we formed Avantgarde, probably the last great cracking group who was built in the c-64 Scene. I also started retro-games trading with a couple of sceners like Hok, Derbyshire Ram and Pudwerx.
