Not to mix up with the earlier Swedish group Explorers (1985-86), containing some of the same members.
A quote from Guide from Mega-Demo 1:
"First I was a member of Anticopyright Association, the little cracking group which grew bigger and bigger. After a while, people phoned us to tell that they wanted to to join us. We first said no, but then a lot of phonecalls came to us. We began to think about it and one after one joined us. But then, when more than 6 wanted to join us at the same time, we and the new members decided to change name, so we took EXPLORERS (I know that Explorers existed earlier, but they are dead, so we have taken the name (some members in the new Explorers are from the old))"
In other words - ACA, Freaky Soft and I.S.A. [International Softspreading Association] melded together in late Feb -87 or March -87 to form the SECOND swedish group calling themselves Explorers. Not to mix with the earlier group which some of the guys listed here also were members of. The remains of the group dissolved in June 87 to form Pet Shop Boys, which later melded into The Silents. Other members left to join their old buddies building the group The Dirty Dozen.

| I always enjoyed the "Explorers" intro of Nemesis The Warlock. It is quite simple and has the "Legend Of Kage" music (brilliant tune). The scrolltext always amused me and my best friend Digi. I uploaded their "Leviathan" crack eaven thou it has no intro. |
