- They make'em, We break'em
Founded by :
PMK & Jellyfish in 1984
Dissolved in :
1985
Group Type :
Cracker Group
Base Country :
Denmark
Trivia :
- The first cracking group in Denmark.
- One of the first groups in the world to add intros to their cracks. (Influenced by GCS according to a comment by PMK on Black Floyd)
- Creators of the world's first smooth scroller.
- To avoid number clash, each cracker got ten numbers to use at the time for use on his cracks.
Danish Gold and Teesside Cracking Service later used the same slogan.
In their intro with the scroller they used a tagging system at the beginning of the scrolltext where each crack got its own number and often also one or two letters based on who cracked the game. I've updated the cracks with missing credits according to this system. /Zyron 070903

It would be awesome to read the story of Danish Crackers... how you were formed, how it all began - a day in the life being PMK and Jellyfish doing your thing! So many cracks and providing such a big influence in the early C64 days! You guys rocked and have always been superstars and heroes! |

Our slogan "They make 'em - we break 'em!" must have been very popular, since so many other groups "borrowed" it later on. ;)

RESPECT. Danish Crackers was my first meeting with the cracking scene. They are one of the best Danish cracking groups ever! At that time, DC, Popeye & Sodan ruled Denmark, like no others!
RESPECT! |
